Inmates call our volunteers “the ones that come back”
Training and Team 7 weekly sessions @ 3hrs each = 21 hrs
building of volunteer team 1 overnight retreat = 10 hrs
Assignments & preparation of presentations = 12 hrs
Total = 43 hrs

Other preparation Writing 42 letters to the inmates, placemats and posters from children, fundraising, donations of cookies, accumulation of signatures on prayer wheel. = 20 hrs

Program inside the prison 3 ˝ day’s in prison = 42 hrs

Instructional reunion
inside prison Meeting prep and program inside prison = 8.5 hrs

Continuing ministry 12 months @ 2hrs a month = 24 hours

2-day retreat under the supervision of the chaplain approximately 3 months after the retreat. = 22 hrs

Travel Volunteers have a return trip with an average of 1.5 hrs each time they meet. = 34.5 hours

Grand total of annual volunteer commitment of hours = 194
In addition to the above many volunteers offer other general ministry support and sit on the board of directors, regional and national committees, music ministry etc.
